Case Study: Ashley and Martin’s Treatment Stops Excessively Shedding Hair

August 8th, 2016 by Ashley and Martin Case Studies in Case Studies

Todd’s* hair had become so sparse from the frontal hair line back to his crown over the past three years that his scalp was clearly visible to all.  Over the preceding six months he had been seeing Ashley and Martin advertising during his favourite sporting events and he began to consider contacting us for an appointment.  He wasn’t really sure that he wanted to go ahead with treatment, but he was very interested in finding out more about the process and what could be achieved with the treatment.

Using the online enquiry system to book his free consultation, 36 year old Todd came to find out the answers to his questions.  He spoke with consultant about how he was concerned the hair loss was aging him and he was beginning to become very self conscious about his looks.  His father’s side of the family carried the hair loss gene and he was aware of what awaited him in the future if he did not treat his hair.  The consultant conducted a scalp examination and diagnosed him with Male Pattern Hair Loss, Norwood III vertex.  Todd had been right that it was a genetic condition rather than an underlying medical issue causing his hair loss.

The consultant let Todd know what was likely to be achieved with medical intervention for his individual situation and invited him to ask any questions about the treatment plan that had been offered to him.  By the time Todd had finished asking all of his questions he was ready to commence treatment straight away and signed up for a RealGROWTH® program.

And he has not looked back since.  After sixteen weeks of using his medications he was invited back for an Ashley and Martin Review.  After discussing how Todd was finding the program and any concerns he had, the consultant took a second set of photos to compare to the ones taken in his initial consultation.  Both Todd and his consultant could see the improvement in his hair.  It had stopped shedding at an excessive rate and the new growth was beginning to fill out the areas that had sparse coverage.  Todd was happy with the early growth and looked forward to seeing what would happen in the coming months.
