Case Study: Twenty Year Old Man with Family History of Hair Loss Beats Genetic Predisposition

March 28th, 2017 by Ashley and Martin Case Studies in Case Studies

Mark* was suffering with early stage III vertex male pattern hair loss when he came to Ashley and Martin. Concerned about his appearance, Mark had tried treating his hair with over the counter remedies found at the chemist. He had watched the men on his father’s side of the family lose their hair and worried the same would happen to him before long.

Researching hair regrowth treatment options online, Mark contacted Ashley and Martin after learning about the causes of hair loss in men and the solutions to hair thinning available to him.

Performing a scalp examination, Mark’s consultant confirmed that the pattern of loss the healthy twenty year old presented with fit with his family history of male pattern hair loss. Mark’s temples were receding and he noted a substantial widening of the part line at the crown. While he had only been thinking seriously about treatment for the past year, Mark told his consultant the loss had started almost four years ago, when he was just sixteen.

Mark’s consultant explained why he thought Ashley and Martin’s RealGROWTH® medications program was the best hair loss treatment to address his needs and gave Mark the opportunity to ask any questions he had about the program. Hopeful that the treatment would do everything his consultant expected it to, Mark enrolled to commence his RealGROWTH® treatment program immediately.

Although he did not make time to attend regular laser therapy appointments, Mark saw improvements in his hair soon after commencing treatment. Looking closely it was obvious the number of hairs in his temples had increased, filling in the recession he had been experiencing. His crown was now thick with hair and Mark felt good about the results of his program.
